Scope of work includes addition of new universal washrooms and a security office; renovations to all washrooms, the foyer, the sanctuary, the tech room, and the gallery; expansion of Classroom #8; and installation of a new glass canopy and a new handrail; and replacement of existing Fire Alarm System. Sch A, Arch B, Struct B, Mech B, Plbg B, Elec B, & Sch D are submitted. Total Occupant Load = Max 815 persons. The addition is exempted from sprinkler as per AL-2026-00025. ***REVIEWED UNDER VBBL 2019 WITH AMENDMENTS EFFECTIVE ON FEB 28, 2025*** Building Review Branch Notes: - The existing building is partially sprinklered in the first-storey (parkade) and the south portion of the building added over the driveway under BU400926. - If a geotechnical engineer's review is required after issuance, a revision to this BP is required with the engineer's LOA and field report. - Insulation in the new floor and partition walls shall be noncombustible. - Emergency light illumination level at the first storey exit shall comply with 3.2.7.3.(2).
